
New Country Director at Westpole Luxembourg: Cyrille Gobert
One promotion and two high-level appointments just strengthened the team in Luxembourg
Luxembourg, 31 January 2022 – WESTPOLE Luxembourg, a leader in IT services and solutions as well as a specialist in the digital transformation of companies, and part of the European Group WESTPOLE, aims to reinforce its teams with around 30 people, with the goal of employing more than 80 staff by the end of 2022. The company has promoted Cyrille Gobert to the role of Country Director and has hired two new high-level employees: Hervé Duterme is Operations Manager and Margaux Muller is Account Manager.

WESTPOLE started the activities in Luxembourg and in Belgium one year ago, following the takeover of the IRIS Group’s Professional Solutions department. The company’s activities are booming. WESTPOLE notably concluded a major contract with the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (EU-LISA). The relaunch of Cloud, Managed Operations, Archives and Document Management (EDM) services as well as Staffing also contributed to the success.
WESTPOLE Luxembourg today has 50 employees and is looking to boost its staff to over 80 employees by the end of 2022.
WESTPOLE has appointed Cyrille Gobert to the position of Country Director and is now hiring two other people. Hervé Duterme joins the team as Operations Manager and Margaux Muller is Account Manager. The recruitment of these new employees is in line with the growth strategy of WESTPOLE.
Cyrille Gobert: a prosperous and competitive 2022 ahead
Having acquired 27 years of experience in Luxembourg, Cyrille Gobert has been appointed as Country Director of WESTPOLE Luxembourg. WESTPOLE is capitalising on his strong skills in the information technology (IT) sector, his extensive network of contacts and his results-oriented professionalism. His in-depth knowledge of the market should enable him to develop his sales targets, find structured and effective strategic solutions, establish partnerships and negotiate commercial contracts to support the brand’s growth.
According to Cyrille Gobert: “2022 will be a year of strong growth for WESTPOLE and we will make sure we have the means to succeed. We aim to strengthen our position as a major player in the digitalisation of companies in Luxembourg with our GED EDM services, the provision of skilled experts, Cloud and Managed Operations, for our private customers, professionals working in the financial sector or otherwise, and our public and institutional customers. We will also promote our Governance, Risk, and Compliance Center tool. This GRCC tool is already used by two key regulators, one in Luxembourg and the other in Belgium.”
Hervé Duterme, multifaceted expertise to accelerate operations
Hervé Duterme, Operations Manager is now responsible for the operations management of WESTPOLE Luxembourg. “With a background that is more focused on infrastructure, I identified in WESTPOLE an opportunity to improve my knowledge and develop new skills. I’m very impressed with WESTPOLE’s range of products and especially by its Cloud products, the electronic document management and the development of applications. I am sure that WESTPOLE’s strategy and development potential, in a world where remote working is becoming the norm and where digitalisation is growing fast, will both contribute to its success,” he explained.
Hervé Duterme manages in particular the ‘Delivery’ team, i.e. the outsourced employees as well as the project teams (Cloud, Enterprise Identity Mapping or EIM, Development, etc.) and notably the development of their planning and contracts in line with budgetary and financial conditions. His priority is to develop the operational teams, in order to support the growth of WESTPOLE.
Seeking a new professional challenge, Hervé Duterme joined WESTPOLE Luxembourg after gaining experience at Halian Europe as e-Operations Manager. Prior to that, while working for for 18 years at Delphi Automotive Systems, he acquired experience as IT Finance and Contract Manager, EUC Support Team Leader, IT Sites Manager, and Business Services Manager Powertrain before being appointed as Regional IT Operations Manager – EMEA Central, with responsibility for managing 51 sites in Europe.
He also contributed his motivation and skills to the European Commission as a Budget Consultant and User Computing Senior Technician.
Margaux Muller, al-round Account Manager, completes the picture

From a practical viewpoint, Margaux Muller’s priority is to support outsourced employees, so that they can fully grow in their customer role. She also works on the projects for digitalisation, Cloud, Compliance and Security.
Margaux Muller opted to join Cyrille Gobert at WESTPOLE, after working as Sales Business Development Manager for Wemanity and as Business Development Manager at SOGETI Luxembourg. She has worked her way up from Resources Delivery Consultant to Junior Account Manager, and then Senior Account Manager.
